Briefly, it was organized at a time when "rapping" meant 'talking.' As young people gathered weekly in the founder's home, they would rap about whatever was on their mind....school, drugs, home, sex, peer pressure, etc. No subject was insignificant and they were given a platform to freely express their opinions. The "mapping" took place as they worked on solving the issues they faced. The most salient feature of this organization is "providing positive solutions for bad situations." Peer-to-Peer Interaction proved to be very powerful, as they were trained to counsel each other. All sessions were under the watchful eye of the founder/director, with a youth coordinator in place at all times.
